Eight easy ways to show your customers you appreciate them.

We know you appreciate your customers’ business, but do your customers know how much you appreciate them? Here are some easy ways to show your customers a thank you for choosing your company over the rest.

1) Respect Your Customers and Their Opinions
It is very important to be respectful of a customer’s mood when trying to resolve an issue they have. Give your customer the time to air out their issues and keeping your patience is key.
2) Listen to What Your Customers are saying
Your customers are your business, and not dealing with reasonable requests could cause backlash. Regular customers know your company, so ask them for their opinion of your products and services. You will gain valuable knowledge of your staff, products and operations.
3) Tell Customers about Changes – Good or Bad
No matter your size, keep your customers in the know when it comes to positive and negatives changes to your products and services that affect them. Try not to surprise anyone when making changes to your products and services because your customers have become accustomed to what you already offer.
 4) Reward Them 
When was the last time you sent your loyal customers a little something extra? Show you appreciate them in a tangible way. It’s always the perfect time to start a loyalty program that offer small rewards if you don’t already have one.
5) Celebrate a Holiday
Make holidays special for your customers by giving something unique from your company. A discount card or something else lets your customer know how much their business means to you this holiday season.
6) Less is more.
Offer your regular customers an exclusive product, free upgrade or discount that isn’t provided to just everyone. Keep a list of those loyal clients, so you can surprise them with a specials from time to time.
 7) Brag about Them
Show off your customers through your social networks or marketing material, with featured pictures and summaries of your relationship with them. Display their picture and send them a special gift as a thank you.
8) Special Events
Host small parties or events for your top customers. The events don’t have to be an expensive soiree, but it can be something as simple as an ice cream social or renting a food truck. The key is reminding your customers that you appreciate them.

Your customers are your business. Let your customers know that you don’t take their loyalty for granted by finding special ways to let them know you appreciate their business, through special events all throughout the year. This will ensure that they will stick around through all the bumps on the path to a stronger future.
